About Findlay Engineering

A Ballarat institution since 1987. Built on expertise, driven by quality, and still growing.

Findlay Engineering workshop

Four People in 1987. Fifty Specialists Today.

Findlay Engineering was established in 1987, beginning as a four-person engineering business in Ballarat. Today, operating from a modern workshop and design offices in the Wendouree Industrial Park, we employ around 50 specialists across design, fabrication, machining and installation.

The key to our continual growth has been strong management processes, fairness and opportunity for our people, and a clear vision for the future.

Chris Findlay, the founder and Company Director, drives this growing firm. Working closely with his brother Duane in management and direction, they have implemented strategies that have attracted and retained a team of specialists respected across Australian industry.
